Caring For Your Hair

Use a conditioner that has low protein content after every washing. Apply a leave-on conditioner during days that your resist on shampooing your hair. Heat is not an option in creating your curls. It can lead to hair dryness. Once you are done with washing your hair, it is preferable that you subtly ease out excess water and leave it to naturally dry. In order to style and untangle your short curly hairstyles, use a comb that has a wide tooth. Excessive brushing should be avoided because it can lead to frizzing. Remember, you have curly hair and not straight hair therefore brushing is not your friend that can ease out tangles.

If you have no idea on how to curl your hair, might as well let a professional do it for you. Go to a salon that knows if a curly hairstyle is really meant for your features and hair type. If the professional stylist suggests a different style, rather not reconsider on insisting the curls for this may do more damage than good.
